Day 1: God Wants Me Well
Prescription Truth
God Wants Me Well
“Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers.”
— 3 John 2 (NKJV)
Many people struggle with a fundamental question when facing sickness, pain, or difficulty: Does God really want me to be well?
Some believe God is willing to save but not willing to heal. Others wonder if their suffering is somehow God's plan for their lives. These questions can create uncertainty that hinders faith and robs us of hope.
The Apostle John removes that uncertainty with one simple statement: “Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health.” Notice how John addresses his readers first—Beloved. Before speaking about health, prosperity, or blessing, he reminds them of their identity. They are loved.
Everything God does flows from His love. Healing is not something God does reluctantly. Healing is an expression of His loving nature. Just as a loving parent desires the well-being of their child, our Heavenly Father desires your wholeness. He cares about every part of your life—your spirit, your soul, and your body.
When Jesus walked the earth, people constantly came to Him for healing. Not once do we find Jesus refusing someone because He was unwilling to help them. Again and again, He healed the sick, restored the broken, opened blind eyes, cleansed lepers, and strengthened the weak. Jesus said that He came to reveal the Father. If we want to know God's heart toward healing, we need only look at Jesus.
This does not mean every question about healing is easy to answer. We live in a fallen world where sickness, pain, and suffering exist. Yet the foundation of faith is not found in our circumstances. It is found in God's character. Before we can believe God for healing, we must first believe that He is good.
Today's Gos-Pill is simple but powerful: God wants me well because God loves me.
Faith begins to grow when we stop questioning God's goodness and start resting in His love. Healing often begins when hope is restored, and hope is restored when we discover the Father's heart.
As you begin this forty-day journey, allow this truth to settle deeply into your spirit: You are not approaching an angry God who must be persuaded to help you. You are approaching a loving Father who has already revealed His heart through Jesus Christ. Today's discovery is one of the most important truths you will ever learn: healing begins with knowing you are loved. The more convinced you become of the Father's love, the easier it becomes to trust His promises. Your first Gos-Pill reveals a life-changing secret: God is not withholding healing from you—He is inviting you to receive what His love has already provided. This is where faith begins, where hope is reborn, and where supernatural recovery starts its journey.
Prayer
Father, thank You for loving me completely. Thank You that Your heart toward me is good and that Your desire is for my wholeness and well-being. Help me to see You as You truly are—a loving Father who cares for every part of my life. Remove every lie that causes me to doubt Your goodness and fill my heart with faith, hope, and confidence in Your promises.
Thank You in advance for the healing You are working in my spirit, soul, and body. Thank You that Your Word is alive and powerful and that Your promises are producing supernatural recovery in my life. Thank You that even now You are restoring what has been broken, strengthening what has become weak, and bringing life where discouragement once lived. I receive Your love, Your peace, and Your healing today. In Jesus' name, Amen.
